Curium Solutions – Simplified Change Management, Birmingham, West Midlands

Curium Solutions welcomes new director

Curium Solutions has signalled its continued commitment to growth with the addition of change specialist Kathy Coleman as its newest director. Kathy joins founding directors James and Adam Farrow, and Andy Dawson, together with non-executive director Phil Zeidler, on the Curium board.

James Farrow commented: “Kathy is a superlative change practitioner who is passionate about the link between individual change and transformation at an organisational level. Kathy has a hugely impressive CV and will be a dynamic addition to our team.”

Kathy Coleman said: “I couldn’t be more delighted. I help organisations to get better at delivering change and believe that a huge part of this involves enabling individuals to understand themselves and their individual and collective mindsets and behaviours.”

“I haven’t ever seen an organisation, which combines delivery expertise with this passion for people in the way that Curium does. That is why I am so keen to come on board.”

Kathy joins Curium having run her own consultancy for the past five years. During that time, she worked with organisations in a variety of sectors to help them align their change portfolios to their strategic directions, ensure they were delivering the right projects, and develop their change capability to successfully deliver and sustain change.

Prior to that, Kathy has delivered business transformation programme at financial institutions, major corporates and consultancies, including AXA Life, Capgemini Consulting, RAC and Oracle. As Head of Mortgage Change at Lloyds Banking Group, she led the delivery of integration, migration and regulatory programmes and projects following the merger of the Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS.

Kathy is Curium’s fourth appointment since the start of the year, underlining the change consultancy’s ambitious plans for growth. Learning expert Jo Rix joined Curium from Mars UK, while the arrival of Kathryn Hobbs and Zurina Panesar has enhanced Curium’s communications and marketing capability.

Curium has also expanded into the US, merging with Florida-based performance improvement and leadership development firm DME Consulting International and securing a distribution deal with TetraMap International. The move sees Curium offer its unique mix of Capability and Delivery solutions to US organisations looking to improve performance and deliver sustainable change.

Formed in 2008, Curium is an independent change consultancy working with household brands across a range of sectors. These include Lloyds Banking Group, E.ON, Kingfisher Group, Boots, Argos, Habitat, Zurich, Provident Financial Group, Shop Direct, Prologis, Telefonica, and Nationwide.

  • M&A implementation – cultural and operational change to support the new organisation

In a sector heavy with jargon and complexity, Curium simplifies change, taking best practice processes, tools, models and frameworks and boiling them down to their essential and most useful elements.

Curium works with individuals, empowering them to make change sustainable long after the team has left. Every member of the Curium team has experienced change from the client side and understands the emotional journeys individuals experience when leading or adapting to change.
