What you do at Curium?

I am part of the Change Delivery team and work with Emma to deliver Curium’s Contact Centre Solutions. That’s to say, I work with clients with large contact centres and back office areas to support them in delivering commercially balanced improvements to benefit their people, their customers and their business. While technology will continue to rapidly develop and remain a great enabler, it is really through supporting people to be the best they can be that sustainable results are achieved in organisations.

What you enjoy about working at Curium?

Although we typically work on different sites with a wide range of clients across the country, the teamship is tremendous. The ease with which you get real support from colleagues who have different skills from you is fantastic, as is the satisfaction you feel when providing this for another team member. Curium has very strong and inspiring values which are not just printed in a book and filed away, they are evident in every member of the team, all of the time.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Spending time with my wife and our two sons, aged 20 and 15. This can range from being away together on holiday or just at home messing around. I enjoy theatre, live music, cooking and most sports. My primary sporting interests are football (to watch) and tennis (to watch and play) and this is always highly competitive when I face either of my sons! I’ve converted to being a left-handed player to compensate for unhealed injuries to my right hand, and while I don’t win many matches, my love of playing is unquantifiable.

What has made you proud in the last year?

As much as I truly love my job, the best and biggest responsibility I have is being a dad. The pride I feel in watching and supporting my sons grow and develop overrides everything else. They’re at different stages of their lives and any parent will understand the heart-warming feeling every time they update me on progress they’re making or a challenge they’re facing.
