I joined Curium in September 2019 as Principal Consultant and spend most of my time working with clients on projects and programmes. I have over 20 years’ experience defining and delivering change at strategic, portfolio, programme and project levels in business and IT roles but my specialist subject here at Curium is helping leaders and organisations organise for success. That will mean different things in every client engagement but typically involves re-assessing business and organisation models to adapt to changing strategy or circumstance.
There are so many things that make Curium the ideal place for me to work. Firstly, the variety of clients and types of projects means you’re always learning and you feel like you’re making a real difference. Secondly, I’m trusted and encouraged to influence strategy and build new propositions. The whole team truly live the brand promises and values; we care about each other and try to support one another whenever we can. Finally, Curium are genuine about following their purpose – to empower potential in people and organisations – and that aligns brilliantly with my passion to help leaders and organisations organise for success.
I try and make the most of living in the beautiful Dorset countryside so when I’m not spending time with my wife and daughter doing family stuff, I get out on one of my bikes – either night rides on my mountain bike with a group of friends or on long road rides; sometimes solo, sometimes with Mrs Lee, occasionally on sportives or social rides with friends… I’ve even been known to ride up a few mountains for fun.
Without a doubt it would be balancing a fulfilling career, helping clients without compromising on the truly important things in life, which for me means being a good husband and father and making sure I’m there for them.
