Our Framework

With a strong background in psychology and neuroscience, Curium launched its Culture & Capability practice, integrating mindset and behaviour change into its transformation services. At the time, the idea of blending neuroscience with business transformation was unconventional, but clients quickly embraced it, especially those struggling with frontline stress and resistance to change.

Since then, Curium has been driven by its vision to become the most recommended transformation partner in the UK, grounded in core values of “People First, Keep It Simple, and Make It Real.” Curium’s unique approach, combining hands-on delivery with cultural and capability-building services, has delivered extraordinary results, helping clients achieve their strategic goals faster.

Today, Curium works with some of the most iconic organisations in the world (including NASA, the FBI, and Merlin Entertainment) – evidence of how far their people-first philosophy has taken them, making a lasting, positive difference in every engagement.

Clients come to us at the start, middle and after transformation. Either the change is complex and they can’t get going, the change has stalled and they hit resistance or the change hasn’t stuck and hasn’t delivered the expected benefits.

Our approach focuses on three key areas. First, we Engage by aligning teams behind a shared vision for the transformation. Second, we Assess by identifying the factors that will enable success or create barriers to achieving the desired outcomes.

Finally, we Shape by creating a clear, practical and actionable way forward that enables the organisation to move confidently towards its goals.

Introducing Neuroscience

Today, mindset and culture are usually found at the top of the priorities list for most companies, however, in 2008 when Curium was founded, they were not.

Many businesses are still facing challenges with getting this balance right.

The obvious place for Curium to focus was in ‘transformation’ given the founders had spent years delivering major programmes across the globe.

As an avid reader of psychology and brain science, James led the way in establishing the ‘People Solutions’ part of Curium. Understanding the mix of running complex programmes while also delivering neuroscience-based education and entertaining workshops, he helped clients embed this from the front line, where dealing with stress was hugely ignored.

The results were astonishing. Our people first approach and workshops tailored to your business needs have been overwhelmingly successful in the last 18 years.
