Curium wins at Business Masters
Curium Solutions has been named Business of the Year (up to 50 people) at this year’s West Midlands Business Masters.
Organised by TheBusinessDesk.com and sponsored by Aston University, ART Business Loans and SF Recruitment, the Business Masters were announced on 21 March at a black-tie dinner at Edgbaston Stadium. Curium had been shortlisted in three categories: Professional Services, International Trade and Business (up to 50 people).
Curium Director and Co-founder James Farrow said: “We are hugely proud to win this award, which celebrates the talented Curium team and our work helping customers to empower their potential. Thank you to Alex and everyone at TheBusinessDesk.com for hosting an inspiring event and for recognising the vision, purpose, culture and energy that helps drive Curium forward.”
Adam Farrow, Director and Co-founder, added: “Ten years in and we have grown beyond recognition. We have a thriving US business and have created a brilliant leadership programme alongside other performance solutions, while our Transforming Operations and change delivery specialists help companies every day. We are investing heavily in our growth, further developing our award-winning digital performance platform (PXP), and hiring talented people.”
TheBusinessDesk.com’s joint managing director Alex Turner said: “It was a fantastic evening, highlighting the achievements of companies across the region. What the businesses in the room had in common was a commitment to their people and culture, a resilience about how they are dealing with current circumstances and an optimism about future opportunities. There is a real energy in the West Midlands. It is a great time for the region and there is a real willingness to get things done.”
A leader in people-led change, Curium specialises in buying people into change. This creates value from accelerating the adoption of change and the earlier release of benefit. Three core practices, Transformational Change, Performance Solutions and Transforming Operations, enable Curium to support any type of change. Clients include corporates, partnerships and public authorities in the UK, US and elsewhere in the world.
Winning is the latest highlight in a busy 12 months. Earlier this year, Curium announced the appointment of leading local business figure and West Midlands Digital Leaders Local Champion, Tracy Westall, as its Executive Chair. The company published a report: Empowering inclusive leadership for a diverse age, which provides an original take on diversity, inclusion and leadership; and co-created the Midlands Leadership Awards.
Last year, Curium enhanced its performance solutions capability with the acquisition of Anne Clews Consulting Ltd, a people change company led by Anne Clews. Curium is the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s Business of the Year and winner of its Excellence in People Development award.
